" CRISTAL" offers Switches of Paddle / Vane type (Model: CFS - 250 ) and On-Line Disc type ( Model: CFS - 150).
On-Line type Flow Switches are suitable for low and medium flow lines of liquids and gases whereas paddle/vane types are recommended for higher line sizes and flow ranges.
Both are higWy reliable with low maintenance.
Plinciple of Operation: Liquid or gas flow is sensed by the freely suspended paddle / disc through the bellow-sealed design, creating movement of SS Paddle / Disc against the spring force which is pre-set at a determined flow rate. A precision spring ensures repeatability and high degree of operation. No magnetic parts are employed. The bellow is sealed to ensure positive isolation between switch assembly and process fluid. The bellow movement corresponding to flow allows to actuate the sensor switch of micro-switch of 1 NO + 1 NC contacts having current rating 5A115A at 240 V AC.
Flow Switches are tested for ma\.imum pressure of 10 Bar and suitable for temp. upto 200°C. Process connection for Paddle type is 1" BSP (M) std. and for on-line type is %" BSP(F) std.
Typical Application: These are used in low-flow alarm application, pump protection, coolant flow systems, safety cut-offs , m/c.tool oil system, blending & lubrication system and for excessive and / or insufficient flow protection, water treatment and effluent treatment plants, fire sprinkler system, fuel transfer systems, etc.
Materials of Construction: Body - Brass, Paddle- SS-304, Bellows - Ph. Bronze. CoverABS Plastic, Disc - Brass, Springs - SS-304.
